Volunteer in Rome With USC4P&J

We've heard from you at the film series, at the protests and via email. You've expressed your outrage at: the Bush administration, the ongoing tragedy of Iraq, the military industrial complex, corporate control of the media, etc. Well, we are suggesting a way for you to channel that feeling of outrage into something constructive by taking an active part in our organization.

Below are descriptions of a number of ways you can contribute. If you are interested, contact us via email at: volunteer@peaceandjustice.it. Please also let us know if you are interested in helping in any other ways not mentioned.

Latest News
We send out a weekly latest news/take action bulletin and we have a team that works on this. Each member of the team is responsible for assembling 5-6 news items for the weekly mailing on a rotating basis. The more people we have on the team, the better.

Film presenters
We try to have a different person present each film in our series Eyes Wide Open. Presenters will be responsible for preparing a handout on the film, introducing the film, guiding the discussion afterwards and writing up an account of the evening for our web site.

Let us know if you are interested in presenting any of the upcoming films. Also, if you know of a speaker for one of the films, please let us know.

Translators
We want to make more of the content on our web site available in Italian. We need translators, for the most part for English to Italian and will also occasionally need translation from Italian to English. We'd like to put together a pool of translators to contact on an as needed basis.

Web site promotion
There are a number of directories and sites on the web where we could insert our site or exchange links with similar sites. We need someone to look for these sites and add the info on ours.

Writers
For those of you who like to write, we have an Articles section on our web site where we publish articles by our members. Let us know if you'd like to write on a particular issue. We also need volunteers to write accounts of our events for the History section of our web site.

For questions or more information on any of the above contact us at: volunteer@peaceandjustice.it

Upshot of our Nov. 9th group discussion on current politics:

It wasn't the Russians that got us Trump. Or Comey. Or even the massive GOP election fraud. It was the DNC.*
*Dem National Committee

To learn how to stop the DNC from delivering us another Trump, read Autopsy: the Democratic Party in Crisis.

Photo of a school in Yemen bombed by Saudi Arabian jets supplied by the U.S. and fueled in the air by the U.S. Air Force. Tell Trump to STOP THIS CARNAGE, not fuel it! Click here.

Click here to sign a petition, to put an end to the sanctions against Syria - their only effect is to take a terrible toll on the population, causing them to migrate! And click here to see the video by the Italian Committee to lift sanctions against Syria.

Iraq Deaths Estimator
Did someone tell you that U.S. military intervention in Iraq was over? Not true: we're at it again. This time the pretext to drop bombs is "curbing ISIS" (which was created by the U.S. in the first place, to overturn al-Malaki in Iraq and then Assad in Syria, and is now out of hand. Like what happened to "our" creature al Qaeda in Afghanistan). And the death toll continues to rise...
Write your senators and tell them: "Enough! U.S. out!! Iraq has shown it can curb ISIS by itself!"
